Build for ROUND 1: FIGHT
I've seen any post like this, so I've started one.
I've been trying to do that quest around 10 times and I've only killed two consecutive enemies (I've been able to kill Orion, Sogolon, Tom but not been able to kill Alesia or Meloni).
I need your help to finish this quest.
My armor is 15k Pyro from citadel (old school).
Need help plz. Thx in advanced.

Lessee... If they haven't changed it from the Preview event, then B-surge is the way to go, still.
[skill]blinding surge[/skill][skill]enervating charge[/skill][skill]lightning orb[/skill][skill]air attunement[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]glyph of restoration[/skill] then Vampirism, to deal with Mhenlo mostly (and some extra damage) and Slippery Ground for a KD.
16 Air, 12 Energy Storage, 6 Water Magic.

Bsurge would be the "normal, effective build" route.
However, you can just poop out a bunch of rit spirits and win without so much as moving.
Different strokes for different folks.

I hardly have any skills unlocked for my ele so I've been using this build and it's working well so far.
[skill]Searing heat[/skill] [skill]Fireball[/skill] [skill]Rodgort's Invocation[/skill] [skill]Liquid flame[/skill] [skill]Blinding flash[/skill] [skill]Aura of restoration[/skill] [skill]Fire Attunement[/skill] [skill]Elemental attunement[/skill]

that build will beat the norn tournament, and the master's solo quest where you fight the blessed griffon.
also running that build with 3 SF heroes, cynn and earth hench with 2 monks is tearing through everything so far. even when I faced destroyers and ended up disabling SF we still tear through them quick although if I knew I was fighting destroyers I wouldn't be using SF. I'm sure things get harder but in the icelands 6 ele's are fun to run lol.
for adventuring I don't bring blinding flash, actually been having fun with "finish him!!" in it's place. good for bosses and giants.

This build can basically deal with anyone, spam Lightning Orb and Hammer.
Blinding Flash for Warrior, Paragon and Ranger, as well as Bison.
Gaze of Contempt to remove enchantments of course.
Keep both Attunements on, Aura of Restoration is for cover, as well as healing.

Ebon hawk, stoning, ash blast, glowstone, armor of earth, aura of restoration, ele attunement, glyph of lesser energy
Use 3 while target is down. This build can't take Mhenlo.

If you want to do it in a simple and boring way, go E/Rt. This can kill everyone fast without too much hassle.
Pain
Vampirism
Anguish
Shadowsong
Painful Bond
Glyph of Concentration
Blinding Surge
"You Move like a Dwarf"
12 Channeling
12 Communing
Left over in Air
For melee, cast shadow song immediately when you enter arena. Use the Dwarf shout to knock em down and cripple. Cast the rest of the spirits, apply painful bond and presto, they are dead. For casters with exception of Mhenlo (vampirism), start with pain (use glyph for those annoying mesmers and interrupters. Cast two spirits, use dwarf shout and cast third while they are knocked down).
Blinding surge is basically insurance and is usually only needed with Magni i.e. Shadowsong expires before he dies so unless you get him blind again fast, 2-3 hits will kill your spirits and you after that.

Replace Glowstone with Earth attunement, GoLE with Gaze of Contempt or Rend Enchantments so Mhenlo bites the dust.

Not sure, haven't tried. I just slightly changed your build to use dual attunements thus freeing up one skill slot for enchantment removal. If the original worked for the other competitors, then this would work too.

Just switch out channeling for fire attunement, and frozen burst for another dmg spell. (flameburst will do).

I use a similar build to the mist form build. I do not need to echo mist form, everyone dies before it needs to be reapplied except Bison and he can be temporaily kited to avoid taking damage.
Fire Attune, Mist Form, Glyph of Sac, MS, Bed of Coals, Flame Djinn, Inferno
Last spell can be anything like a heal/regen or hex breaker or whatever to counter something you have trouble with. Just make sure the other guy is done moving before you activate MS (it casts instantly with GoS up). Typically, the 9 second pre-match countdown is longer than the match.

I'm surprised no one us using an Earth build around Sandstorm for it. it's a great alternative for the Dual Attunements and Fire Magic
